Hi, I'm Ben.
Husband and father are my main two titles. But for the rest of the year, I'm a wedding photographer.
My years in education gave me something I didn't expect to carry into this work — a calm, cool edge and the ability to make people feel like themselves. I'm a big personality when it's needed (group photos, anyone?), but can fade into quiet observation when the moment calls for it. Reading the room, understanding people — that's at my core.
Over the past decade I've built my way of seeing weddings, capturing stories across the UK and globally. This year I was ranked in the Top 50 Wedding Photographers in the UK by RMW.

My philosophy on photography is simple:
It's a piece of history. A moment in time.
It's about the human experience.
It's imperfect and raw at times, and that is beautiful.
It's art in the everyday.
At a wedding, I capture with all of this in mind — intentionally and with care. I've spent years learning to read people — first in education, now behind a camera. I see the best in all folk, and I take pride in making sure my images do the same.
I work worldwide and take a limited number of weddings each year to make sure every single client gets the highest standard of work I can give.
